Boom.
I was saying yesterday on twitter that some people might stop reading Bookwyrms after this page, and I wouldn’t blame them! When I was writing this story I was quite afraid that introducing a supernatural/fantasy element this late in a mystery, otherwise realistic story would put off some readers.
What can I say? This element has been key to the story since the very beginning, and it’s connected to everything else, even if Hedy thinks “It’s all far too complicated!”. (And who can blame her?)
So yes, I hope you enjoyed the revelation and the possibilities it opens!
PS. I am aware that Hedy has recognised having precognitive dreams in a previous chapter, but I consider this moment to be the “supernatural revelation point” because the characters talk about it out loud.
